Should I get a Cockapoo if I work full time?

If you work full time you will need to make provision for your dog. They really shouldn’t be left alone for more than six hours tops (I would not leave Milo for more than 4 hours) Puppies should not be left alone for longer than 2 hours and only when they have been trained to be used to it.

If you can take them to work with you that’s great, as long as they have had a walk they are very adaptable to a day in the office with you.

There are a lot of dog walkers out there that can walk your dog in your absence. Make sure they are fully insured and reputable. If you have a job that could get you back for lunch to see your dog that would work too.

Cockapoos can be very needy and can have separation anxiety so is worth a huge consideration before committing to a cockapoo puppy.
